CodeCogs Membership
Introduction
CodeCogs as an idea can only work if a broad range of users contribute to the growth and maintenance of the library. Otherwise CodeCogs will become, like many other libraries, specialised in a narrow area of science that closely mimics only the expertise of the creators.
Therefore we would encourage you to contribute whatever you can and we'll rewarded you with free associate membership. Please remember that if you've write a function you need, then there is a good chance thousands of others developers throughout the world might need it also.
If you haven't the time to write code, then you can support CodeCogs with a cash contribution that we will invest this on your behalf to improve the library.
Either way your contribution (money or time) will keep CodeCogs growing steadily and help us expand into new and exciting areas.

How to Get Free Membership
Free Associate (Annual) Membership
Free Membership to CodeCogs is very easy to obtain, just make a positive contibution that helps to grow or improve the libary. Some example might include:
- Submit 1 new function with good documentation.
- Submit 2 new reference pages.
- Improve 3 reference pages (e.g. add examples or figures)
- Start or finish 2 new development projects.
- Submit a new tutorial on using some aspect of C/C++ (in forum)
- Submit one A4 pages of bugs (including spelling errors) that exist anywhere on the CodeCogs Website.
- Help develop or improved the CodeCogs web interface, by sending us details (with appropriate HTML, PHP, Javascript, etc).
- Regularly helping users through the forum and providing good quality solutions (8 good posts would be sufficient).
- Post reviews on CodeCogs on other forums, or promoting use at conferences etc.
- Place a permanent Link to us from your website.
- Recommend us to five of your friends.

And don't worry if you've paid to become a member and then subsequently find your contribute a lot back into CodeCogs: then we'll either refund your membership fee or give you the next year free (or perhaps both!).
