Version 2.93 missing graphics
Version 2.93 missing graphics
The current version is missing all graphics for all symbols and has been for at least two days. Not a good look at all. How are people supposed to use it?

UPDATE
Accessing the editor from this page under Quick Installation all 5 types return an editor with all panel graphics missing.
http://www.codecogs.com/components/equationeditor/equation_install.php#Quick
Accessing the editor from http://www.codecogs.com/components/equationeditor/equationeditor.php returns a working editor.
Can this be fixed urgently?

Fixed - that was just a silly synchronization error on our part. i.e. the dev graphics files being out of step with the live versions.
Thanks for reporting it, but please please tell us immediately when something doesn't work. We are constantly checking out changes, but occasionally things slip through.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Incidentally, have you tried the 'Create Calculator' feature on our new Editor on the main site?

We are 10 times zones apart so I thought I'd wait until your working day began to see if it was fixed before complaining :-)
I don't want to be too critical but I thought you had worked out a procedure for development and live versions so that wouldn't happen again. This was just a matter of looking at it. I've had over 5600 downloads of the CodeCogs plugin for TiddlyWikihttp://twmath.tiddlyspot.com/ and since the CodeCogs editor is the heart of it I'd like to think my users wouldn't be inconvenienced by such easily solved problems. It's a reflection on my product as well. I hope you understand:-)
I just tried the Create Calculator you mentioned and the iframe returns the error
Missing Page. Sorry the page you have requested no longer exists on this website.
To return goto the CodeCogs home page 'click here.
<iframe src="http://www.codecogs.com/ic-latex=d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="270" height="350"></iframe>Also the tabs that do show in the iframe all to link to full size pages that open in the same small iframe itself. I added scroll bars but the pages weren't useful in the small window. I hope this helps. Morris

Hi,
Thats great news about the popularity of TiddlyWiki. I've actually just recommended it to a company I'm working with at the moment also - so you should see those downloads rise further :)
The problem that stopped the images appearing was actually nothing to do with the editor, i.e. there was no version change. It was simply that during house keeping, we tidied the wrong directory. That in itself shouldn't have matters, cos the system should automatically regenerate the equation editor panels based on some underlying xml files. What stopped this was directory permissions that hadn't been correctly set.
We live and learn.

As for the calculator. Haven't been testing the iframe integration - we're still focused on the conversion of the LaTeX into calculator. I'll fix your bug immediately and you can have another go. We'll also power up the feature that allows you to embed graphs into your wiki - then you can have some real fun - so watch this space.
Cheers
Will.
