Slow down menus
Hi everybody.

I have your LaTex editor plugin for FCKEditor working and I think that it's great! But, in my humble opinion, I think that the event mouseOver (or whatever event that is triggered when you place your mouse cursor over a button) is too fast and it reduces the usability of the editor.

I think that a little delay since you put the cursor over the button until the menu is launched should be more usable. Maybe you couldn't share my opinion, but I would like to know how could I insert this little delay in the javascript files.

Please, could you help me? Thanks in advance.

A good point. We'll add it into the API, so you can vary this to suit your needs.

Many thanks for your fast answer.

While I'm waiting, could you tell me if I could add this feature in any way to my local installation?

Thanks in advance.

Not really. We don't have a delayed action for opening the panels; only a delay on closing.

Its not a major design change; but we'll have to do it (perhaps later today). However I also feel that it would be useful to expose the timings within the API, so both timings can be varied to suit.

A 200ms delay has now been implemented into the menus. Its a very minor change, so you'll have to refresh your browser or delete the cache to see the effect. Hope this address you first point.

Thanks for waiting.

Thanks a lot for this improvement, I didn't receive any notification by mail of this and I haven't seen it until now.

No probs. Regarding the emails. Unfortunately a bug was introduced to our system, when we implements some anti-spam solutions.

This should now be fixed - so hopefully you get this message :)
