Hi,

This effect is based on our trials with using svg images whenever possible. This effect is actually by design, as it allows people to see the equations in an enlarged form. Handy for superscripts etc. But this also demonstrates the fantastic potentials that exist with svg. Unfortunately IE don't support svg so with them we still embed gifs.

We have been waiting for feedback on this, so if your unconvinced or feel it could be done better, then please let us know. Its a very simple modification at our end to change the effects.
