Update - v2.1.3.0 (RC2)

As part of our continued improvement to Excel Render this update address some know bugs and add some new features, including:

• crashing when with 'value' display when referring to an empty cell
• text output containing blanks for referenced cells in both 'name' and 'value' mode.
• increased timeout time to allow initial connection to our servers through firewall.
• New: ability to cancel a long or interrupted rendering process
• New: improved display of vectors which use named cell references.

Outstanding Issues:

We continue to receive sporadic reports of how Excel Render doesn't work with Excel 2003. Most typically this is due to the failure of the toolbar to display. Its important that you follow our trouble shooting guide on http://www.codecogs.com/products/excel_render/excel2003/install.php which resolves most of the issues we've encountered. The cause in most cases is a failure of the CASPOL security system that Microsoft introduced, although we don't fully understand why it fails. We had also had reports that Excel Render crashes Excel 2003 when installed on the 64bit version of Windows 7, which we're now investigating.

If you do experience any problems please let us know. The most examples we receive the easier it is to identify common causes.

There are no known issues with using Excel Render with either Excel 2007 to Excel 2010.
